Item

The Item Component allows you to link to a new page from the rendered page. When the link is clicked, any components nested under the Item in the Page Recipe will then appear.

Item configuration:

• Add an Item to a Recipe, and nest it under an Access Component if you want to limit who is able to add an Item link to this page.
• Select the template you’d like to apply to the component. If you don’t select a template the default template will be used.
• Nest a component under the Item Component to determine what gets rendered on the target page. A good choice would be the Media component.
• Change the Title of the Item to determine what appears on the Add Item Clickbar on the rendered page.

• On the rendered page, click the Add Content button at the top of the page
• Click the Add a new (Item Component Title) bar

  

  Add a new link to the page

• Enter a Name for the Item
• Click in the URL field and a new URL will be auto-generated
• Click the Create button, and a Link will be added to the page

• Click the link to see the Item page you created
• Notice that the url to this Item page appears in the browser path, and the title appears in the Breadcrumbs menu
